How We Got Started
We started Zurligen Jardinieres as a family economic project to make ourselves available to homeschool our children and to reclaim more time surrounded by the people and things we love. And we love plants!
Kaitlin Zurligen is the heart of the business. She puts her passion for natural beauty and her experience as a garden museum educator together with her leadership prowess to inspire elegance in design and excellence in service.
Jeremy Zurligen is Kaitlin's husband. He has a background in design and horticulture. His talents are key to gardening as an art form. He employs his entrepreneurial spirit to build something beautiful with his family day by day.
Shauna Gappmayer is Kaitlin's mom. She brings over 30 years of gardening experience to the business. She sources and grows beautiful plants for our container gardens, and plants the seeds of a beautiful life for our family.
We are a multi-generational family of gardeners nurturing plants and family. It's a beautiful life to work everyday with your children and grandchildren. Together we are Zurligen Jardinieres, the family business that delivers elegant container gardens to make it easy for you to surround yourself with beauty, too.
